Binky's Chiky Chong

The Chiky Chong is the name given to a paper kite that children in Trinidad and Tobago made from copybook pages. It was cheap and easy to make. This abstract is part of a series of paintings following my childhood experiences growing up in the Caribbean.
Vibrant blue and white hues create a textured backdrop for three silhouettes of children flying kites. Splashes of green add a sense of liveliness and movement to the scene, evoking a playful and whimsical atmosphere.
